We need your help!
Starting January 3, 2011 at 6AM, the DAVE Project: Dedicated Artists for the Vitality of arts Education, will be in the running for a $50,000 Pepsi Refresh Grant.  With this money, we would be able to provide 15 six-week after school performing arts programs for public school students who do not have the resources at their schools due to budget cuts.  This grant could kick-start our program and...

First event? Success!
So, now that the chaos from our first cabaret has receded, it’s time to BLOG! How did it go? Very well indeed! We started off the day with our youth workshop, where we had eight participants who worked with us for five hours on acting techniques, vocal techniques, warmups… you name it! EXCITING STUFF IN PROGRESS!!
So, big things are in progress with DAVE. Today we overnight mailed our application to become a 501c3 non-profit organization, which we should hear back about in around 3 months. If and when we become 501c3, it means we’ll be eligible for government funding.
